Process

4 Stages

A good process doesn't slow things down. It's the only thing that keeps speed from becoming recklessness.

Every hour spent in Discovery and Strategy saves three hours in Craft. Structure is not bureaucracy — it's the precondition for work you're proud of.

Stage 011 – 2 weeks

Discovery

We spend time understanding your business, your audience, and what success genuinely means for you. No templates, no assumptions — just the right questions asked in the right order. You leave this phase with sharper clarity about what you're building and why.

What to expect

This stage asks the most of you — and gives the most back. Come prepared to discuss your goals, your audience, and what frustrates you about your current presence. The questions we ask in Discovery are the ones that prevent expensive surprises in Craft.

You receive
  • Project brief and defined scope
  • Agreed success criteria
  • Timeline and investment proposal
Stage 021 – 2 weeks

Strategy

Before any design decisions are made, we define the creative direction, information architecture, and success criteria together. This is where the thinking happens — so everything that follows is intentional, not improvised.

What to expect

By the end of Strategy, you will have reviewed and approved the creative direction before a single page is designed. This checkpoint exists specifically to ensure that what we build together is what you actually need — not a polished interpretation of an undiscussed assumption.

You receive
  • Creative direction and visual references
  • Site architecture and user flows
  • Content strategy and copy framework
Stage 034 – 8 weeks

Craft

Design and engineering work as one. We build in the open, sharing progress regularly so you're never left waiting to be surprised. Iterations are fast, feedback is integrated, and quality is non-negotiable at every stage.

What to expect

Expect regular visibility into the work — staging environments, structured feedback sessions, and direct access to progress as it happens. We typically need two to three hours of your time per week for reviews and decisions. The build moves at the pace of the feedback.

You receive
  • Fully designed and developed website
  • Cross-device and cross-browser QA
  • Performance-optimised and accessible codebase
Stage 041 week

Launch

A precise, planned deployment with thorough QA across devices and environments. Launch is not the end — it is the start of an ongoing relationship. We remain available to support, refine, and evolve the work as your business grows.

What to expect

You receive full ownership of everything we build — code, assets, documentation, and credentials. We stay available after launch because the relationship matters more to us than the invoice. If something needs refining once it's live, we want to know.

You receive
  • Live, deployed website
  • Full code and asset ownership
  • Handoff documentation and post-launch support
From first conversation to launch — typically 7 – 13 weeks
Common questions

Will I be kept in the loop during the build?

Yes — we build in the open. You will have access to a staging environment throughout the Craft phase, and we hold structured feedback sessions rather than a single reveal at the end. Progress is visible when you want to see it.

How much of my time does this require?

Discovery and Strategy are the most time-intensive phases — expect several hours per week as we work through decisions together. Once we enter Craft, most clients commit two to three hours per week for reviews and feedback. We design around your availability, not the other way around.

What if our requirements change mid-project?

Strategy is specifically designed to surface and resolve ambiguity before the build begins. If genuine scope changes arise during Craft, we handle them transparently — a clear conversation about what changes, what it affects, and what it costs. We do not absorb scope changes silently, and we do not charge for them without warning.

Do you work with clients internationally?

Yes. We work remotely with clients worldwide and have built our process around async collaboration. Timezone differences rarely create friction — most critical decisions happen in short, well-prepared sessions rather than long back-and-forth threads.

Ready to begin?

Discovery starts with a conversation. No decks, no pressure.
